quick and easy crockpot recipe

Want the easiest recipe (that NO ONE can mess up)? I made crockpot buffalo chicken. I didn’t snap a picture since it doesn’t look all that interesting, but someone on pinterest did, so check that out here: chicken.

So there are only 3 ingredients:

Boneless Skinless Chicken Chicken (and you can throw it in frozen)
Hidden Valley Ranch Dip Mix
Frank’s Red Hot Wing’s Buffalo Sauce

Depending on how much chicken you use is how much of the others to use. I used about 1lb of chicken, 1/3 of the packet of Hidden Valley Ranch Dip Mix, and half the bottle of Franks. I put the chicken in the crockpot first then, added the Franks and dip mix. Stir it all together and leave it on low for 7-8 hours. Then I pull the chicken breasts out of the crock pot and pull them apart with two forks. Finally just put the chicken back in the crock pot to soak up all the remaining “juice” from the sauce.

I have served it on roll with a slice of cheese and some ranch dressing. Tomorrow I am going to try it cold with a salad. Come back to see that recipe and what it looks like (you will be intrigued).

I like it because it’s one pot, it’s super easy to set and go, and it’s quite tasty for those that like buffalo sauce. I would also like to use this as the base for buffalo chicken dip, but for that I would need to be going to a party or have a party. Hmm perhaps a Superbowl party is in my future.

What new recipe do you have for a party?
