So I finally started to decorate just a few areas. Here a preview:

Here’s another one

I am working on a few more decorations without actually putting up a tree. Sadly I don’t feel like I have a lot of time for that right now.

What is your favorite holiday decoration?

Simple Sundays

Is there anything better than a home cooked breakfast of chocolate chip pancakes on a Sunday morning? I decided, since I was up pretty early, that I was actually going to make a hot breakfast for myself! The nice thing is that pancakes actually do reheat well and I will have breakfast for the next two days. The only things that would have made this breakfast better would have been some bacon to go with it!

I am now ready to start my day. I have a lot planned, so we will see what I really get to! I finally started decorating for the holidays and realized I want some more festive decorations . . . so off to a little shopping I go. I also need to get to the grocery store, and i am thinking a quick workout!
Enjoy your Sunday! What’s your simple Sunday pleasure?

Quiet days

Well not really quiet but nothing really out of the ordinary to excite you my readers on what has been going on lately. I have been doing the work thing and spending time with friends. The holidays are quickly approaching yet I can’t seem to get in the holiday shopping mode. I am currently listening to Christmas music with the hope of it sparking some interest in me. Yet I don’t really have much! I have also thought about decorating the house, but since i am not actually here for Christmas it seems like a bit of a waste. Plus I don’t really have any good surfaces to put holiday items. And I don’t feel like putting up a tree for the cats to knock down!

Yes I guess you can say I am in a bah humbug mood this year. I miss the traditions of Christmas from the past and every year they move further away from what I remember as a child and the love I felt for the holiday season back then. Also without my own family (ya know the husband and kids) it makes it hard to start my own traditions for the holiday season.

I wish all of you a Happy Holiday Season!

moving on . . .

That can mean so many things . . . but today I share with you new bedding! Remember last weekend I talk about purchasing a new bed set. Well this weekend I finally decided to move some things out of the bedroom, sorta move things around and then put on the new bed set. Take a look at the pretty new set!!

Of course if you go back to the previous post about the bed set, you remember that room looked much more sophisticated than mine, but I like mine better!

This morning I went to Thirty-One event and saw more of the new fall line. Plus I met some new women! It was a great way to spend a saturday morning, just wish it had started a little later.

For dinner tonight I went to my favorite sushi place Sake!!! Now I am home for a relaxing quiet evening since my week was so busy once again! I need to make my to-do list for tomorrow and get cracking early in the AM.

How did you enjoy your weekend? Do anything fun?
