Motivation Monday (and other stuff)

Another amazing weekend is in the books! I ran Saturday morning (4 miles) and was pooped on by a bird! Yes you read that right. But it turned out the saying about it being good luck is true because I also found my wedding dress on Saturday as well! It’s super exciting that it was pretty easy to find one I love, and I was able to add a bit of color as well. We also started to register on Sunday, wow that’s overwhelming! I had no idea it would be that difficult. I just assumed it would be fun and easy, but there are so many choices! We started at Macy’s and we are thinking of doing Kohl’s this week. We ended the week with a great evening with friends, wine and quesadillas (just some of my favorite things)!

It’s OK Thursday, #9

Hello Thursday! I am so fond of you (and more so as I am writing this post and the day is more than half over)! The more I think about it I wonder if Wednesday Wishes and It’s OK Thursday are very much linked…I like doing them both though so we will see.

It’s OK. . .

  • to be excited to finally get to the new gym I joined with my fiancee tonight! Yes that means I belong to two and I don’t care
  • to be annoyed with Verizon because we changed my home service for phone, internet and tv in a way they said I wouldn’t get overcharged or have weird billing, and of course I do!
  • to love that the sun is shining even if I am inside all day
  • to be sad that I haven’t spent my time with my friend, but happy because she is doing fun things with her life too!
  • to be in love (FINALLY) with the new clothes I bought this weekend. It’s been a long time coming.
  • to be more in love with your fiancee every day!
  • to make it through the whole post with out a mention of “you know what date”!

Fun Day Friday

So it’s finally Friday and I have a GREAT weekend planned. Friday night out with friends, Saturday date day with the boy and Sunday shopping with another friend! I am jumping for joy right now about my weekend, yup I am a dork.

But today started out awesome with a great workout! It’s been a while since I could say it was great. Since my half marathon it’s been mediocre at best, but this morning it was great! I only did 2 miles but it felt good and I know I could have gone longer.

It’s OK Thursday, #5

It’s OK . . .

  • to be super relieved that a few tough conversations went well, but also wish you don’t have to do it again ANY TIME SOON!
  • to be sad because the line (and parking lot) at Starbucks this morning was too full to get my latte.
  • to be excited for a home cooked meal, it’s been WAY TOO LONG.
  • to be really excited that I slept almost the whole night and my cats somehow behaved (or I was too exhausted to notice them misbehaving).
  • to be super annoyed that my gel nails are not last as long as they should. But I don’t want to pay to have them redone yet.
  • to wish it was Friday and not Thursday.
  • to have a love/hate feeling with the fact that work is providing my lunch for the 3rd day in a row (doesn’t help the cleaner eating choices).
  • to be so excited that I just can’t hide it (in Jesse Spano voice) for shopping on Sunday.

My Wednesday Wish is . . .

  • That this weekends plans work themselves out! I am stressing more than I should right now.
  • That I get some great finds on my shopping excursion on Sunday.
  • That my conversation with someone goes well tonight, I am really kind of dreading it!
  • That the warm weather will really get here and stay here. I tired of wearing gloves every morning.
  • That I will find ways to challenge myself again at work.
  • That my lack of motivation at the gym is just temporary and since I start training for a 10K next week it will be back!
